Ex-Tabula Rasa

I shall try to define myself in a sentence with a pithy comment at the end:
I'm just an English bloke who lives in Canada after marrying a Canadian lady he met while living in Japan. Yeah, that old cliché.

fridayreads:

Share what you’re reading this week for a chance at Joyce Carol Oates’s new collection of suspenseful short stories, The Corn Maiden.

So, what are you reading?

Since I finished Infinite Jest on Wednesday after nine months of trying, I decided that I had to cleanse my palate (so to speak) with something nice and simple. Right now I’m halfway through The WWE Championship: A Look Back at the Rich History of the WWE Championship by Kevin Sullivan.

It’s terrible.
