Ex-Tabula Rasa

I shall try to define myself in a sentence with a pithy comment at the end:
I'm just an English bloke who lives in Canada after marrying a Canadian lady he met while living in Japan. Yeah, that old cliché.

Shameless Self-Promotion:

So. Fucking. English.

Last night Mrs Fuiru and I went to the Toronto One-of-a-Kind craft and food fair. There was a local tea emporium giving out samples of their wares, and when I specified that I would like to try a sample of their double bergamot Earl Grey the store owner expressed intimidation that someone with my accent would be appraising his wares.

When I got home there was a thank-you card from my dentist.
