Whenever I see one of those posts that emphasises the importance of the Oxford Comma by comparing two sentences with and without one (usually, for some reason, involving people working in the sex trade), all I can see is the phrase “I am a terrible writer who is frequently in danger of being misunderstood because my sentences are poorly constructed.”
