Ex-Tabula Rasa

I shall try to define myself in a sentence with a pithy comment at the end:
I'm just an English bloke who lives in Canada after marrying a Canadian lady he met while living in Japan. Yeah, that old cliché.

Shameless Self-Promotion:
My utterly hilarious blog is here

Now that we’ve gotten that out of our systems, have a good day. And by good day, I mean fuck off.” — State Department spokesman Philippe Reines, in an email to BuzzFeed, responding to questions about the department’s handling of the Libyan embassy crisis.

Bonus Quote of the Day

YES.

I WANT TO USE THIS RIGHT NOW.

This makes no sense. If by “good day,” he meant “fuck off,” then the quote is “have a fuck off.” That’s not a real thing. It makes no sense. One cannot ‘have’ a ‘fuck off.’ There’s no such thing as a ‘fuck off,’ so one cannot have it. Basic grammar.
